Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team and contribute to our manufacturing and facilities maintenance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and safety in mind. Your expertise will support the creation of high-quality products, maintenance of equipment, and facility improvements. Responsibilities
- Perform welding using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to fabricate metal structures and components
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical experience to troubleshoot machinery and automate processes
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep to ensure operational efficiency
- Supervise or assist with manufacturing processes, ensuring safety standards and quality control are maintained at all times
- Utilize tools like ohmmeters and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for diagnostics, record-keeping, and maintenance scheduling
- Support customer service initiatives by ensuring timely completion of projects and addressing client specifications when applicable
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) with a strong focus on safety and quality standards
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting PLCs, wiring diagrams, and using electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices including repairs, inspections, and preventative measures
- Experience supervising or leading teams within manufacturing or fabrication environments
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Residential painting skills are a plus for certain projects requiring surface finishing or touch-ups
- Customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients or internal teams

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
