Lifestyle Care Professionals LLC is seeking two compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide personal support services for two teenage male brothers with intellectual disabilities and autism. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, reliable, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Location: Crestview, FL
Pay Rate: $17
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: Afternoon shift (4 hours per day) 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 8-hour shifts (36 total hours weekly)
- 2 positions available ( Seeking a caregiver per client)
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- One individual requires assistance with changing briefs and maintaining proper hygiene.
- Provide supervision and support while encouraging independence.
- Prepare light meals and snacks.
- Engage individuals in recreational and community-based activities.
- Complete daily documentation and follow agency policies.
- Use positive behavior support techniques to redirect mild behavioral challenges.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the individuals’ care.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
- Ability to communicate effectively and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
