About Taichi Bubble Tea – Tucson
Taichi Bubble Tea is a franchise brand headquartered in Rochester, New York. While the brand is part of a larger franchise system, the Tucson location is locally owned and operated by an independent franchisee and local small-business owner.
Our Tucson restaurant is a small business with a small team, typically requiring employees and managers to work closely together and take on multiple responsibilities. This is a hands-on environment where the manager may be involved in customer service, cashier duties, food and beverage preparation, training employees, and overall day-to-day restaurant operations.
We are looking for team members who are dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a small-business environment where everyone contributes to the success of the restaurant.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our growing team. Taichi Bubble Tea combines the flavors of Japanese-inspired ramen, fresh poke bowls, and handcrafted milk tea in a fun, fast-paced dining environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys creating great customer experiences, developing team members, and maintaining high standards for food quality and service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to provide excellent service
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently maintained
- Manage staff schedules, labor costs, and daily workflow
- Handle customer concerns professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with ownership to improve operations and grow the business
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant management or assistant manager experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction
- Experience with food cost, labor management, and team training is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lead by example and support the team when needed
