Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Master Mechanic A Tech to join our dynamic automotive service team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, and other critical automotive systems, including diesel engines and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently.
- Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, and preventative maintenance to uphold safety standards and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to execute repairs with precision.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive engine system repair and diagnostics.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, ADAS technology, and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair as well as standard passenger car operation.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding automotive technology trends.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in vehicle maintenance, alignment procedures, welding, and heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools, power tools, powertrain components, and manual handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.
