Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver (Non-CDL, OTR, 1099) and take on an exciting role that combines driving, delivery, and customer service! In this position, you'll operate box trucks to deliver goods efficiently and safely across various routes. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated drivers who enjoy hands-on work and providing exceptional service. As a 1099 independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while contributing to our fast-paced logistics operations. Truck has a sleeper, microwave, fridge, 1 on 1 dispatch.
Duties
- Safely operate 26FT box truck non-CDL commercial vehicles over long-distance routes to deliver freight on time.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and liftgate ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Drive route-specific deliveries while maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies throughout each journey.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Prior OTR, ELD experience is STRONG PLUS
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for commercial driving.
- Reliable, self-motivated individual capable of managing schedules independently as a 1099 contractor.
- Medical card, ELD experience, citizenship/green card/work permit only. Ability to comunicate in English.
