Part-Time Chiropractic Assistant — 401(k) match + PTO
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will support the chiropractic care process both in the treatment room and behind the scenes — from patient prep to promotion and maintaining records. The ideal candidate has a strong drive to learn and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Duties
- Prepare patients for treatment: this will include getting daily intake information, setting patients and applying modalities like muscle stimulation, ultrasound, laser and decompression
- Assist the chiropractor during patient assessments
- Provide patients with education on posture, body mechanics, and home exercise techniques
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation
- Manage scheduling and other administrative/front-office coordination as needed
- Ensure a clean, organized treatment area and maintain infection control procedures
- Restock supplies
- Support occasional marketing/outreach efforts
- Demonstrate excellent patient service through clear communication and empathy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assistant or chiropractic assistant program, or equivalent experience, preferred
- Experience operating chiropractic modalities is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Comfort working in a team environment and adapting to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
