CDL Class A Truck Driver – Paving Crew
Full-Time | Seasonal (April–December)
Sullivan Paving Co. Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our paving crew. This role primarily involves moving materials and heavy equipment between local job sites. We are looking for a motivated team player who is willing to step out of the truck and assist crew members when needed.
This is a full-time, seasonal position with local routes.
Position Responsibilities:
● Safely operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and lowboy trailers
● Transport heavy equipment and materials between residential job sites
● Properly load, unload, and secure equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
● Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer
● Maintain equipment cleanliness and promptly report maintenance concerns
● Assist crew members with manual labor and job site responsibilities when not driving
● Work closely with foremen and crew members to ensure safe and efficient operations
Qualifications:
● Valid CDL Class A license with acceptable driving record
● Experience hauling heavy equipment (lowboy experience preferred)
● Knowledge of proper load securement and DOT compliance requirements
● OSHA 10 certification preferred (not required)
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
● Strong reliability, professionalism, and team-oriented mindset
● Construction or paving industry experience preferred
