We are seeking a reliable and customer-service oriented Parking Lot Attendant to manage vehicle flow and ensure a safe, organized parking experience at our Newport, RI locations. This role involves assisting visitors, maintaining lot cleanliness, and supporting smooth operations in a busy and often seasonal environment.
Key Responsibilities

Direct and guide vehicles into designated parking spaces efficiently and safely

Collect parking fees and issue tickets or receipts as required

Monitor lot capacity and communicate availability to incoming drivers

Provide friendly assistance, directions, and information to visitors and tourists

Enforce parking rules and report any safety or security concerns

Maintain cleanliness of the lot, including trash removal and basic upkeep

Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed
Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Basic cash handling experience preferred

Knowledge of Newport area is a plus
Work Environment
This role is primarily outdoors and may involve standing for extended periods, especially during peak tourist seasons.
