GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Brand Manager is the creative engine of the HHG marketing team, responsible for shaping how our restaurants look and sound across every marketing touchpoint. This role is ideal for someone who has strong creative instincts, an intentional writing voice, and the ability to make confident judgment calls in the moment. The individual must be able to produce polished, on-brand content and must possess basic design skills. In addition to creative ownership, this role contributes to the day-to-day administrative rhythm of the marketing team, including file organization, vendor documentation, invoicing, and other operational tasks essential to the department’s success.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Production
- Produce creative assets across digital and print channels, primarily working within established templates while exercising creative judgment to adapt or evolve them as needed
- Make creative decisions in ambiguous situations, balancing brand standards with the context and tone of each property or campaign
- Manage and maintain the brand template library, ensuring materials stay current and on-brand across the portfolio
- Comfortable receiving and acting on regular creative feedback. Our brands are growing and we expect our voice and visual identity to sharpen over time through ongoing feedback and collaboration.
Copywriting & Brand Voice
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for social media, email, event materials, websites, and other marketing touchpoints
- Adapt tone and voice across the portfolio's distinct restaurant concepts while maintaining a consistent brand identity
- Proofread and refine copy produced by other team members or vendors as needed
Social Media & Email (Creative)
- Drive creative strategy for social media and email marketing, developing content concepts, visual direction, and copy in partnership with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager
- Stay current on social media platform trends and emerging content formats, bringing proactive recommendations to the team
- Monitor industry trends, including food and beverage, dining culture, and the broader Boston competitive landscape, and translate relevant insights into content opportunities
- Monitor and engage with our social media communities, responding to comments and messages with an on-brand voice
- Attend select events to capture real-time content for stories and social channels
Events & Special Projects
- Support promotional event strategy, planning and execution
- Support ad hoc projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Senior Leadership
Marketing Administration
- Contribute to defining and documenting marketing SOPs and creative processes as HHG continues to grow
- Contribute to maintaining marketing reporting dashboards and compiling performance recaps for leadership
- Support file organization and asset library management in SharePoint, ensuring materials are current and accessible to internal and external parties
- Assist with invoicing and vendor documentation for marketing-related vendors and partners as needed
- Support COI collection and vendor onboarding
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of experience in brand management or a related marketing role; restaurant or hospitality experience a plus
- Strong writing skills across multiple formats, with an instinct for voice, tone, and audience
- Up to date on social media trends and platform best practices, with a track record of applying them creatively
- Strongly skilled in Canva
- A genuine interest in restaurant culture and the broader landscape; you follow the industry and bring that curiosity to your work
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable contributing to administrative and operational tasks alongside creative work
SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns while aligning with brand identity and business objectives
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams, vendors, and partners.
· Skilled in handling multiple projects, managing deadlines, and optimizing marketing efforts with attention to detail and efficiency.
· Ability to work in office 5 days per week; this is not a remote position
· Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for events, activations, and shoot days

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
