About Us
Hattie Mae’s Home Care Agency, LLC is a growing non-medical home care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, dependable, and respectful care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for caring and reliable Home Health Aides/Caregivers to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as permitted by the client's care plan
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's needs
- Assist with medication reminders as permitted by the client's care plan and applicable regulations
- Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments and errands when assigned
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or safety
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client privacy and confidentiality
- Follow the client's care plan and agency policies and procedures
- Accurately document services provided and required visit information
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for every client
Qualifications
- 1 yr previous caregiving, home health, personal care, STNA, HHA, or related experience
- required – HHA/CNA/STNA certification (preferred)
- CPR (encouraged)
- Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and agency staff
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to safely assist with activities of daily living
- Must be able to pass required background checks and employment screening
- Must have reliable transportation and able to commute
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
