Duties
- Assist with various animal care routines, including feeding, watering, and monitoring livestock health
- Operate and maintain farm machinery with safety and precision
- Perform manual handling tasks including lifting, stacking, and moving supplies or equipment around the farm
- Conduct basic repairs on farm equipment using hand tools and power tools; assist with welding and mechanical repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety standards in production and handling heavy or hazardous materials
- Will be dependent on candidate, can be more farm related or more semi duties
- Haul market hogs, manure , hay, grain
Requirements
- Previous farm or outdoor work experience preferred; enthusiasm for agriculture is essential
- Knowledge of farm machinery operation including agricultural tractors and heavy equipment
- Experience with livestock handling, animal husbandry, and animal care practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with safety standards in agricultural production environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully in outdoor settings
- Would prefer 1 year CDL experience but willing to train right candidate if needed

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
