Overview
Join our dynamic team as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Specialist and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavioral psychological assessments to identify underlying causes of behaviors
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and client needs
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment strategies
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff working with children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Collect, analyze, and document medical records, treatment progress notes, and HIPAA-compliant medical documentation accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of behavioral health services in home-based, school-based, or clinic settings
- Lead intake processes for new clients, including initial assessments and treatment planning meetings
Qualifications
- Experience working with children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and functional assessments such as FBA
- Proven experience with data collection methods and analyzing behavioral data to inform treatment decisions
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance
- Background in special education or school experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform patient care activities effectively while maintaining compassionate communication with clients and families
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and supporting autism spectrum disorder support programs is preferred
