We are looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us deliver the high-quality cuisine our guests return for time and time again.
Position Overview
The Line Cook plays a key role in executing our menu with consistency, precision, and pride. The ideal candidate brings experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, a passion for flavors, and the ability to work collaboratively during busy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to Diamonds established recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station throughout each shift.
- Assist with daily prep, including sauces, pastas, proteins, vegetables, and classic components.
- Ensure all food is cooked, seasoned, and held at proper temperatures.
- Work closely with chefs and fellow cooks to ensure smooth, timely service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in line with health department standards.
- Restock and rotate product (FIFO) and ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Take part in maintaining a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.
Qualifications
- Prior line cook experience required
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with common kitchen equipment.
- Ability to perform well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction from the culinary leadership team.
