Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee flooring projects within the commercial construction sector. This role involves coordinating all phases of flooring installations, from estimating through execution and completion. The ideal candidate will excel in managing teams, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial flooring projects from inception to completion.
- Develop accurate construction estimates using MeasureSquare and Quickbooks Online
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve issues proactively.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Read blueprints to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Monitor project budgets, change orders, and resource allocation to maintain profitability.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with contract requirements.
- Facilitate effective project coordination through clear communication of schedules, deliverables, and expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Previous experience installing and managing commercial flooring or general construction projects is a plus but we are able to provide training to those without existing experience as well
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
