Mitigation Manager
Help Build and Lead a Growing Mitigation Team
Are you an experienced mitigation professional ready to take the next step in your career?
We're looking for a hands-on Mitigation Manager to help establish and grow our mitigation operations in a new market. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example, and building something from the ground up.
Initially, you'll oversee every aspect of the mitigation process, from the initial inspection through project completion. As the operation grows, you'll play a key role in hiring, training, and leading a team while continuing to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Because we provide 24/7 emergency services, this position requires the flexibility to respond to emergency losses after hours, on weekends, and holidays as needed. During the initial growth phase, you will be the primary responder for emergency mitigation services. As the operation grows, you'll have the opportunity to build and lead a team, and after-hours responsibilities will evolve accordingly.
What You'll Do
- Respond to residential and commercial water, fire, mold, and storm damage losses
- Perform detailed property inspections and develop the appropriate mitigation plan
- Perform water extraction, demolition, containment, equipment setup, and other emergency services as needed
- Monitor drying progress and make adjustments throughout the project
- Write accurate Xactimate estimates and maintain thorough project documentation
- Communicate with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers throughout the claim process
- Manage projects from the initial inspection through completion while delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Coordinate project schedules and prioritize emergency response activities
- Respond to emergency losses outside of normal business hours as business needs require
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential and commercial mitigation experience
- Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration
- Experience performing inspections, emergency services, demolition, structural drying, moisture monitoring, and estimating
- Proficient in Xactimate
- Experience working directly with insurance adjusters and property owners
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and make sound decisions in the field
- Must be willing and able to respond to emergency losses outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC WRT Certification required
- ASD Certification preferred
- Additional IICRC certifications are a plus
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing a team is preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
