- 3 years+ experience as a Chef is required.
We are seeking an experienced Private Chef to provide high-quality, health-conscious meals in our home. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preparing gluten-free, healthy, lower-carb, and high-protein meals while managing all aspects of meal planning and kitchen organization, grocery shopping, etc.
Job Role Includes:
- Create weekly menus in collaboration with client preferences
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the client's preferences, dietary guidelines.
- Prepare meals on-the-fly based on requests from client and their house guests
- Grocery shop and source high-quality, fresh ingredients
- Package meals into individual serving portions, ready to be warmed & enjoyed.
- Inventory Kitchen/Pantry and keep the areas well organized & stocked at all times.
- Ensure efficient use of ingredients to avoid waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Design & Plan menus based on our personal preferences and nutritional goals
- Accommodate occasional dinner parties and/or special requests
- Perform other Chef related duties as requested/assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience as a private chef, personal chef, or similar culinary role
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF GLUTEN-FREE COOKING IS REQUIRED!
- Passion for wellness, organic, and wholesome foods is a must.
- Strong knowledge of gluten-free, lower-carb, and high-protein meal preparation
- Knowledge of food allergens and food safety
- Ability to create balanced, delicious meals using fresh and high-quality ingredients
- Organizational skills for pantry and inventory management
- Grocery shopping experience with an eye for sourcing quality ingredients
- Food safety and kitchen hygiene knowledge
- Professional, discreet, and respectful of household privacy
- Flexible and adaptable to dietary preferences and scheduling needs
- Ability to Collaborate with us to understand our culinary needs and preferences.
- Ability to take constructive criticism and adjust preparations as per our specific needs/preferences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen setting, preferably with experience in high-end private dining
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, including Food Handlers Card.
- Ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with us and our staff.
- A passion for cooking with a creative approach to meal preparation.
