Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants. This role is essential in promoting healthy development, meeting individual care needs, and fostering early learning through responsive interactions.
Duties
- Implementing daily routines and age-appropriate activities for infants.
- Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing, while maintaining proper hygiene standards.
- Support infants’ developmental milestones through engaging, sensory-rich activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding each child’s needs and progress.
- Monitor infants closely to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment.
- Follow established schedules for feeding, sleeping, and playtime.
- Classroom management by creating a calm, comforting atmosphere.
- Observe and report developmental progress or concerns to parents and administrators
- Create ideas for activities that support early childhood development.
Skills
- Basic understanding of infant development and early childhood care practices.
- Experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with parents and team members.
- Ability to respond patiently and attentively to infants’ needs.
- Knowledge of safe sleep practices and infant care routines.
- Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a nurturing and dependable attitude.
- Awareness of health and safety guidelines related to infant care.
