POSITION DESCRIPTION
Detroit Innovation Academy is looking for a 21st century educator to inspire and motivate our students. Technology and innovation are important at DIA and a willingness to be a lifelong learner in these areas is an essential responsibility of anyone joining our team of effective teachers.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Prior teaching experience with proven track record of using data to drive instruction (strongly preferred)
· Willingness to adapt and try new things
· Comfort with technology and online solutions
· Ability to work well independently and with others
· Ability to communicate clearly to different audiences (oral and written)
· Solutions-oriented
Majority of work is performed in a general school environment. Position requires availability for extended hours, non-traditional hours, participation in and attendance at organization-sponsored events and meetings. Physical demands include the ability to operate standard business office equipment, maintain documents and files, and communicate and exchange information (both written and oral).

Pay: $38,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
