Seeking an experienced Relief Veterinarian to provide in-person veterinary services for a small animal emergency practice in Idaho Falls, ID. The scope of work involves delivering high-quality medical care to small animals.
Scope of Work

Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for small animals.

Provide preventive care, vaccinations, and wellness consultations

Conduct digital and dental radiography and ultrasound

Administer anesthesia and perform surgical procedures, including soft tissue surgeries

Deliver urgent and emergency medical care as required

Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
Deliverables, Timeline & Success Criteria

Completion of scheduled relief shifts as agreed upon with the clinic

Accurate and timely documentation of all patient care and procedures

Effective communication with clients and staff throughout each shift

High standard of patient care, with successful outcomes for routine, urgent, and emergency cases

Project duration and specific dates to be determined based on clinic needs and mutual availability

Success will be measured by client satisfaction, adherence to clinic protocols, and quality of medical care provided
Required Skills & Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) with current Idaho veterinary license

Proven experience in small animal

Proficiency in digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, and anesthesia

Strong surgical skills

Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
