Job Overview
Burk Excavating, a reputable and growing company based in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our team this spring. In this role, you will safely and efficiently transport materials to and from job sites, suppliers, and dump locations while supporting daily operations and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to haul materials to designated locations
- Load and unload materials as required
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, safety policies, and traffic laws
- Communicate with dispatch and team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous experience driving dump trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record (CDL A preferred)
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices and job site safety
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical awareness
- Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Bonus (not required): Experience with roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers
