Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. A Driver's License is required if driver is not available and pick ups and deliveries are necessary on occassion.
SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Logistics Specialist provides excellent customer service and excels in organizing and accurately documenting in a busy work environment utilizing the company's ERP system (Fulcrum).

Responsibilities
1. Parts Delivery Planning
- Create and keep organized all parts for release
- Check Shipping Hold Boxes for complete orders and update Production Schedule throughout the day utilizing Fulcrum, company's ERP system.
- Confirm driver delivery schedules and releases for the day and week
- Prepare Packing Slips and carrier paperwork for shipping of parts
- Always inform Production Coordinators and Managers of any potential delays or changes to delivery/shipping schedules
2. Parts Release Coordination
- Confirm what parts are ready from Outside Processing and have prepared for shipping.
- Generate PO and note due date on Production Schedule
- Follow up with Outside Processing vendors to ensure parts are received back on time.
- Ensure Outside Processing and Material Certs are included with Packing Slips and
3. Ownership & Communication
- Always inform Production Manager of changes to schedules
- Prioritize and inform team of any delays or issues with paperwork or parts
- Help keep inventory accurate and organized in stockroom and in Fulcrum
- Keep work area clean and well organized
- Always striving for improvement and willing to learn new skills as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proficient with computers
- Excellent customer service skills via email and phone
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced work environment with ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift heavy boxes / material
- Must be able to complete shipping labels, packing slips and outside process Purchase Orders based on company’s current computer based documentation system
- Ability to use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers and drill press a plus
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to assemble, package and ship in an efficient and quick manner.
- Must keep stock room, shipping, assembly and surrounding areas clean.
- Must be professional, polite and cooperative with all other departments.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards
- Ability to read and understand Blueprints a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
