About the Position

What you will do as a Production Supervisor:
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee all day-to-day plant operations while ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and cost control. You will lead and develop production teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner closely with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations. This role is essential in supporting Polycraft Products’ mission of delivering exceptional on-time products to our customers.
What you can expect to do as a Production Supervisor
- Lead, coach, and develop production staff, ensuring alignment with company values and performance goals.
- Manage daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets are met.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Partner with Supply Chain to maintain proper inventory levels and support customer demand.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and workforce planning for production lines.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for in a Production Supervisor:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing; silicone, cores, or related aerospace industry experience is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams, build culture
- Strong influencing skills to drive accountability in delivery and attendance within the team to achieve quality and on-time operational results.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methods and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of production.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with all levels of leadership.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and basic math skills.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. and follow safety protocols per OSHA regulations.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- May need to work weekends as needed or during high-demand cycles
- Drug & Background check required.
Work Environment
- You will work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily, such as computers, machinery, and manufacturing materials.
- PPE and steel-toed footwear are required and provided by the company.

Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position (40 hours), Monday through Friday
Occasional evenings and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
