Position Summary
P1 is dedicated to the highest level of quality across the industries we service, which starts in our production cells. We are looking to add a Quality Technician to our team. The Quality Technician helps ensure quality is built into the manufacturing process and that customer requirements are met before products leave the cell.
Working closely with the Cell Leader, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Leaders, and Manufacturing Technicians, this role supports inspection activities, verifies compliance to customer requirements, reviews quality documentation, and helps identify issues before they reach the customer. The Quality Technician serves as a resource to the manufacturing cell by helping clarify requirements, supporting quality at the source, and ensuring quality-related activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Support first-piece, in-process, and final inspection activities within assigned manufacturing cells
- Review drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements to ensure inspection and verification activities are completed correctly
- Verify inspection records, certifications, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and traceability
- Assist manufacturing teams in understanding quality requirements and inspection expectations
- Identify and communicate product, process, or documentation concerns that could impact quality or customer satisfaction
- Support containment and resolution of nonconforming product when issues arise
- Perform audits, documentation reviews, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to approved processes and requirements
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and Cell Leaders to improve quality, reduce rework, and strengthen quality at the source
- Help maintain an organized, compliant, and customer-focused manufacturing environment

- Quality is built into the process rather than inspected in at the end.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, machining, or a related technical environment
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working within an ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management system preferred
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
