Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. The RBT will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children develop meaningful skills that improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in the home, school, clinic, or community setting.
- Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and document client progress.
- Assist with behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs.
- Maintain professional communication with families and caregivers while providing parent support as directed by the BCBA.
- Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and required training.
- Ensure client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain current RBT certification and complete all continuing education requirements.
- Follow company policies, ethical guidelines, and BACB standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or a related field is preferred).
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance (if providing in-home services).
- Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening and any additional state-required clearances.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required based on company policy).
- Must be Fluent in English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and actively engage with children during therapy sessions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds if necessary.
- Ability to respond quickly in situations requiring client safety.
