Job Summary
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a problem-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home.
The Front Desk Team is responsible for maximizing guest satisfaction, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing brand standards, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community.

Guest experience
Be the warm welcome that starts a memorable guest experience.
Acknowledge Honors Members and ensure rewards initiatives and enrollments are being adhered to.
Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities along with adding insightful information that could enhance their stay with us.
Handle cash and credit transactions.
Ensure efficiency while checking guests in and out in a friendly and receptive manner.
Problem solve guest concerns and resolve in a timely manner.
Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs. Pay attention and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns promptly.
Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and communicate with management when necessary.
Stay safe all the time; follow our safety procedures.
Communicate with other departments when needed.
Take pride in your appearance and work area.
In the know about events and activities happening daily in the area.
Enter rooming lists and assisting other departments when needed.
Creating warm and welcoming relationships with our guests, team and vendors.
Helping with market stocking and cleanliness.
Be a team player and follow our culture to ensure everyone has an enjoyable stay with us.
This job requires ability to perform the following:
- Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office areas for 8 hours.
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms.
- Handling objects, products and computer equipment.
- Basic computer skills to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc.
- Being passionate about people and service.
- Strong communication skills essential when interacting with guests and employees.
- Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc.
- Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used
- Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- Must have enthusiasm, professionalism and attention to detail.
