Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors, aisles, and work areas using floor buffers and other cleaning equipment to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle various cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold sanitation standards.
- Operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to chemical handling safety procedures for cleaning agents and other hazardous materials.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and storage areas by performing janitorial duties regularly.
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning operations to ensure personal safety and compliance with company policies.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment like floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and execute manual handling tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
