Our restaurant features elevated American cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, banquet and event catering, and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences for both hotel guests and local residents.
Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards within the kitchen. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent food quality, timely service, and an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during service periods.
- Maintain quality, consistency, and portion control standards.
- Assist with food preparation, inventory rotation, and storage procedures.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift.
- Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen team members and restaurant staff.
- Assist with banquet and special event food preparation as needed.
- Support a positive and team-oriented kitchen culture.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
