OVERVIEW: Supervise, train and develop delivery drivers, swing drivers, and delivery representatives, utilizing all training materials and tools provided by Suncoast Beverage Sales. Responsible for the daily operations of a delivery area as well achieving short-term and long-term department goals.

Supervise and coordinate daily routes and assistance for delivery and use tools available to analyze staffing, routing, and schedules to identify gaps

Support, train, and adhere to all company standards, guidelines, policies and procedures and utilize all training materials available in effectively developing and coaching delivery/merchandising personnel

Assist in recruiting and retention efforts and improving department morale to reduce turnover

Provide feedback as necessary regarding employee issues, morale, productivity, etc.

Communicate to management all market issues including competitive activity

Maintain package integrity and quality standards in the marketplace and ensure proper rotation of product in a timely manner.

Complete all necessary administrative tasks including tracking and measuring reports, interviewing and hiring, counseling, appraisals, terminations, ride-withs, shadows, holiday staffing, vacation schedules, route sequencing, etc.

Maintain and submit accurate payroll records in a timely manner, including status changes, personal days, vacation changes, attendance records, etc.

Plan and conduct weekly team meetings for all team members

Develop new training materials and training programs based on company needs

Assist with the preparation and training of swing drivers for CDL licensing

Address and resolve any customer related concerns

Familiarity with labor laws and ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA and State Beverage laws

Develop operating budgets and analyze and control expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements

Any other tasks as requested by management

Physical ability to complete all job tasks-repetitive lifting, bending, pulling and pushing, the ability to lift to 40 lbs. continuously, overhead

Willingness to work until the entire job is completed, including working in adverse weather conditions, weekends and holidays as dictated

Complete all required training and continuing education for position

Strong managerial, communication, customer service and leadership skills

Understanding of and competent in computer technology necessary for the position

Class A CDL License
