Overview
The Community Liaison plays a crucial role in fostering relationships between our organization and the community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be adept at public speaking, and have a passion for community engagement. This employee is responsible for ensuring the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high quality services and social interactions. He/She acts with primary responsibility to increase and maintain occupancy at or above 95% by being directly responsible for inquiries, community outreach and public relations.
Duties
- Develops and maintain partnerships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to enhance outreach efforts.
- Directs sales forecasting with weekly updates to Executive Director.
- Prepares weekly sales and community report.
- Manage social media platforms to promote events, share success stories, and engage with the community.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Reviews and communicates market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates to Executive Director.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and services of the competition.
- Provides Executive Director with current availability and market ready room lists.
- Conducts walk-in tours and schedules tours with prospective residents.
- Responds to telephone inquiries and completes initial move-in paperwork.
- Discusses and makes recommendations for facility advertising with Executive Director.
- Attends special events and networking opportunities.
- Demonstrates an appreciation of the values and wisdom of the residents and understanding of the aging process.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in social media management to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for administrative tasks.
- Must have the ability to direct, council and manage personnel and follow chain of communication sequence.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to relate to referral sources, residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
- An Associate or two year degree or diploma plus some experience in the fields of Health, Marketing, Social Services, Geriatrics or Management/Administration: or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of two years experience in essential work related skills, or a combination of undergraduate education and experience for a total of two years.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
