Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or Audiologist
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric students in educational settings
- Ability to conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educational staff
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptable and open to working in a fast-paced, supportive environment
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and/or auditory needs using standardized assessments and observation
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation for all evaluations, progress notes, and communications
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, tailored to each student’s needs
- Stay current on best practices, resources, and technologies in the field of speech-language pathology and audiology
