We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our growing Occupational Medicine clinic!
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating injured workers to restore function, improve mobility, and support safe return-to-work outcomes. This role collaborates with providers, employers, and case managers to deliver evidence-based care aligned with occupational health guidelines and job-specific functional requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for work-related injuries
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery and return-to-work goals
Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities
Conduct functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) and work conditioning programs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and home exercise programs
Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes accurately and timely in the EHR
Collaborate with providers on care plans, restrictions, and work status updates
Communicate with employers, case managers, and adjusters as appropriate
Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation guidelines and clinical protocols
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure safe treatment environment
Participate in quality improvement and outcome tracking initiatives
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program
Minimum of 2–4 years of clinical experience (preferred)
Experience in occupational medicine, industrial rehab, or work conditioning programs (preferred)
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing
Experience in outpatient orthopedic or occupational health setting
Familiarity with EHR systems and documentation standards Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and functional testing
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
