The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to develop technical documentation and maintenance procedures, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. This position works closely with production teams, engineering personnel, and external suppliers to ensure maximum equipment performance and uptime.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.
Repair and maintain vacuum chamber structures and perform leak detection and leak-check procedures as required.
Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Perform final operational testing, leak checks, rotational tests, break-in procedures, and system verification prior to returning equipment to production service.
Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild complex mechanical systems, including:
Gearboxes
Pumps
Rotating equipment
Engines
Pneumatic actuators
Hydraulic actuators
Identify root causes of mechanical failures including:
Execute precision assembly activities utilizing:
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and process inconsistencies.
Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
Coordinate equipment repairs, service support, and spare parts acquisition with external vendors and suppliers.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical degree, certificate, military training, apprenticeship completion, or trade license preferred.
Preferred disciplines include:
Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical systems, aerospace manufacturing, or related technical experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, production machinery, or industrial process systems strongly preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Experience with electrical controls, motors, sensors, and power distribution systems.
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment and hand tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting capability.
The employee must be able to:
Stand and walk continuously for 7–9 hours per shift.
