POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing administrative duties of early childhood to ensure efficiency and support operations. Will be responsible for providing regular support as classroom coverage to meet daily required ratios.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as front office associate to answer the phone, respond to general inquiries, receive guests, and respond to emerging needs throughout the school.
- Assists with recruitment and enrollment processes, including but not limited to engaging with the ECDC waitlist, scheduling tours, providing orientation materials, and collecting necessary documentation.
- Serves as liaison between ECDC and the IT team to manage information and technology infrastructure.
- Orders, tracks and maintains an inventory of program supplies and classroom materials.
- Serves as liaison between ECDC and the Food Services team on allergy management, documentation regarding menus and allergies, classroom cooking activities, disposable product inventory, and catering for special events.
- Supports compliance efforts by filing and tracking paperwork as required and supports preparation for licensing inspections.
- Provides coverage in classrooms when necessary and assists with agency events as needed.
- Collaborates with ECDC Associate Director and educators to ensure daily opening and closing responsibilities are met.
- Assists Associate Director with logistical planning and coordinating special events such as professional development in-service days, field trips, picture day, and book fair.
- Serves as liaison between ECDC and facility management team to manage cleaning, maintenance and supply inventory.
- Works effectively with other key JCC departments to provide effective and efficient service delivery.
- Ability to define problems, develop solutions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to manage and balance a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
While performing the above duties, this position routinely requires handling persons and/or objects and moving safely throughout the building. This position may include walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. This position requires communicating, either verbally or in writing. This position frequently requires moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position occasionally requires moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to complete all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or related field and/or 2 years of experience in a school or childcare setting.

PA Mandated Reporter Training
National Sex Offenders Registry Clearance
First Aid/CPR Certification
Current physical examination report from a certified physician and an up-to-date TB vaccination
