Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across various industrial areas, including production lines, warehouses, and common spaces. Your efforts will support operational efficiency, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a healthy workplace. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Remove any broken glass scraps, handle fragile materials, dangerous dust and heavy machinery. Keeping only the glass sheets needed for daily runs. Will work in the Shipping Dept . Will rotate 1 week 1st and next week 2nd shift. 3-5 is that have to work some weekends and maybe some 12-hours. Pay starts at 13.00 and will go to 14.00 within 30 days....
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and workstations to ensure optimal operation and hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal. Cleaning Floors.
- Use industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively to clean floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and maintaining restrooms.
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or waste materials as required to support cleaning operations.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning, deep clean the entire workspace and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning glass and oil from machines
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA or relevant safety regulations.
