Overview: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Pizza Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking customer orders, handling payments, answering phone calls, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at the front counter. You will also assist with various in-store tasks, such as filling condiment cups and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet and interact with customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, provide information about menu items, and take orders accurately.
- Process customer orders at the counter, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Order Management:
- Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared promptly and correctly.
- Assemble and package orders for customers, ensuring all items are included and properly presented.
- In-Store Tasks:
- Fill small condiment cups (e.g., sauces, dressings) and ensure they are stocked for customer orders.
- Keep the front counter area clean and organized, including wiping surfaces and organizing supplies.
- Assist with restocking inventory, including condiments, napkins, and other essentials.
- Additional Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting the cash register and cleaning tasks.
- Support team members with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Familiarity with using a POS system is a plus (training will be provided).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable with light lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds.
- Manual dexterity for handling small items like condiment cups and cash.
