We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Donut Baker to join our café team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with food and takes pride in making fresh, high-quality donuts. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to consistently follow recipes and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce donuts according to recipes and production standards
- Mix and prepare donut dough and other ingredients
- Shape, proof, fry, and finish donuts
- Prepare glazes, toppings, fillings, and creams
- Maintain consistent size, appearance, texture, and quality
- Monitor frying and cooking temperatures
- Prepare products according to the daily production schedule
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products
- Keep the kitchen and production area clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Clean and maintain donut-making equipment
- Communicate with the team regarding inventory and production needs
- Assist with other kitchen or café duties when needed
Qualifications
- Previous baking, pastry, or donut-making experience is preferred
- Restaurant or food preparation experience is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and follow recipes and procedures
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is consistent, dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in their work. Donut production requires attention to timing, temperature, portioning, and presentation, so being detail-oriented is very important.
Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn.
Schedule & Pay
Part-time or full-time opportunities may be available.
Schedule and compensation will be discussed based on experience, availability, and qualifications.
