36 hours and 20 hours per week in Bunkie.
We are looking for four (4) caregivers to provide ADL services for a 96 year old veteran with frontal lobe injury in his home. He lives with his wife AND for a 79 year old veteran with mobility issues due to his knees.
Homemaker/Home Health Aide duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist client with showering, personal care and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional and dementia support
Skills
- Proven experience as personal care attendant
- Committed to health & safety
- Able to do housework and cooking
- Well-organized and reliable
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to redirect and negotiate with clients having Alzheimer's and dementia
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Strong ethics
- Physical stamina
- CPR certified helpful
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
- a clean criminal background check

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
