Autocenter 4x4 is a fast-growing automotive export company specializing in exporting new and pre-owned vehicles worldwide. Since 2014, we have built strong relationships with car dealers, brokers, freight forwarders, and importers who rely on us as a trusted and consistent supplier.
Due to continued company growth, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team full-time.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple logistics processes simultaneously. The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring smooth domestic transportation, export documentation, title processing, shipment coordination, and communication with customers and partners worldwide.

Key ResponsibilitiesDomestic Transportation Coordination
- Arrange transportation of vehicles from dealerships to warehouses and ports across the United States
- Search for and coordinate with local trucking carriers
- Monitor vehicle pickups and deliveries to ensure timely transportation
- Resolve transportation-related issues and delays proactively
Export & Shipping Coordination
- Coordinate ocean and air shipments with freight forwarders and shipping carriers
- Prepare and provide shipping instructions and export documentation
- Schedule and track shipments from origin to destination
- Monitor shipment movement and provide status updates to customers and internal teams
- Ensure smooth customs clearance by preparing and submitting required documentation
Documentation & Title Processing
- Prepare, organize, and manage export documentation including:
- Shipping instructions
- Packing lists
- Customs paperwork
- Bills of lading
- Titles and registration paperwork
- Coordinate vehicle titling process and ensure timely title readiness
- Prepare and submit title applications and supporting documents
- Control timely receipt of documents from carriers and dealerships
- Forward documents to accounting, brokers, customers, and internal departments as required
Customer & Partner Communication
- Communicate directly with customers regarding:
- Booking confirmations
- Shipping schedules
- Delivery timelines
- Shipment updates
- Maintain professional communication with:
- Freight forwarders
- Carriers
- Brokers
- Dealers
- Customs agents
- Resolve customer and shipping-related issues in a timely and professional manner
Insurance & Risk Management
- Arrange shipment insurance coverage when required
- Identify potential shipping or logistics risks and assist in developing solutions
- Work proactively to minimize delays, damages, and operational disruptions
Tax & Compliance Coordination
- Obtain and process property tax bills
- Coordinate payment and tracking of taxes
- Work directly with Treasurer’s Offices regarding tax issues and refunds
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, transportation laws, and international trade requirements
- Stay informed about regulatory and compliance updates affecting export operations
Internal Coordination & Data Management
- Collaborate closely with:
- Accounting team
- Purchasers
- Sales team
- Business developers
- Managers
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in company systems
- Enter shipment, title, transportation, and customer information promptly
- Ensure company records remain accurate and up to date at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, automotive exports, or transportation coordination preferred
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong customer service mindset and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive logistics or vehicle export operations
- Familiarity with freight forwarding and customs documentation
- Understanding of vehicle titling and registration processes
- Experience coordinating domestic transportation carriers
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and export compliance
- Experience working with dealers, brokers, and shipping companies
