Overview
Seeking hard workers 18 years old or older willing to do basic cleaning. The hours will be after 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. After 12pm on Saturday. It will be 1 location. Cleaning should take about an hour. This position starts immediately. Must have an high school diploma or G.E.D. and the ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining accurate records of chemical use.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or cleaning equipment efficiently.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring waste disposal is handled properly.
- Execute custodial duties including window washing, carpet cleaning.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries while maintaining facilities’ integrity.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques.
- Strong understanding of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
- Knowledge of safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure working environment at all times.
