Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our Medical Cannabis Dispensary. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience in retail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily Dispensary functions, managing staff, ensuring compliance standards, and maintaining operational excellence. A background in management, or cannabis dispensary operations is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of dispensary operations, including inventory management, record keeping, budtending, and staff maintenance.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Ensure high standards are maintained in compliance with ABC regulations.
- Manage inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Supervise daily shift operations, including POS transactions using Dutchie POS, cash handling, and customer service excellence.
- Implement staff scheduling to meet business demands while controlling labor costs.
- Conduct interviewing and hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dispensary experience.
- Coordinate with upper management on marketing goals, compliance standards, and store operation protocols.
- Lead training & development programs to enhance staff skills in cannabis knowledge, compliance, and retail standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations related to cannabis handling, safety standards, and State laws.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience with a focus on dispensary management or retail management.
- Extensive knowledge of Arkansas Medical Marijuana Program.
- Experience with POS systems such as Dutchie POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Background in managing budgets, inventory control, and cost analysis.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle complex situations professionally.
- Previous experience with cannabis dispensaries, retail stores, or food service is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
