Patti's Swim School is a local swim school offering customized, one-on-one instruction in a calm, structured, and supportive environment.
we are currently hiring reliable, confident swimmers who enjoy working with children and are looking for steady, year-round hours.
Our instructors work closely with students and families to build water safety, confidence, and strong swimming skills through individualized instruction.
What We're Looking For
- Strong swimmers able to confidently demonstrate the freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
- Comfortable teaching swimmers of varying ages and ability levels.
- Patient, consistent, and able to provide clear instruction.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
Highly Valued Experience
- ABA therapy or behavior-based support
- Working with children with diverse learning or behavioral needs
- Coaching, teaching or swim instruction.
- Some families request specific instructor preferences, and we aim to build a team that can meet a wide range of student and family needs.
Pay
- $27-35 per hour, depending on experience

Position Details
- Part-time, year-round position
- Approximately 20-30 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday and Saturday (Saturday required)
- Private, one-on-one lessons with consistent weekly students
Immediate openings available. Additional hours become available as instructors complete training and build their schedules.

Requirements
- Strong swimming ability
- Able to treat water comfortable
- Comfortable working in the water with children
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Ability to follow safety protocols and structured lesson plans
- Saturday availability required
- Long-term commitment preferred
- Swim teaching experience is preferred, but strong swimmers who enjoy working with children may be trained

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
