We are seeking an experienced, energetic PM Server/Bartender to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will provide attentive food and beverage service, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and help create a welcoming and professional experience for guests.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, works well as part of a team, and has strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and cocktails. The facility utilizes automatic gratuity.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and beverage selections and make appropriate recommendations to guests
- Upsell food and beverage offerings when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar and service area
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and company procedures
- Assist with food running, bussing, side work, opening, and closing responsibilities as needed
- Address guest questions or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate
- Work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to maintain efficient service during busy periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily restaurant and bar operations
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous server and/or bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment preferred
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails, and standard beverage service practices
- Experience handling cash and processing guest transactions accurately
- Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills
- Ability to remain organized and attentive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience with Agilysys POS systems preferred
- Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
- Food safety and/or responsible alcohol service certification preferred or required where applicable
