This role supports a major electric utility. Previous experience in the utility, power generation, transmission, distribution, or energy industry is required. Candidates without utility industry experience will not be considered.
We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to create and deliver engaging training programs that improve employee performance and support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Assess training needs
- Design instructor-led and eLearning programs
- Deliver engaging training and workshops
- Partner with business leaders and SMEs
- Manage multiple training projects
- Measure training effectiveness and improve programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
- 4–7 years of Learning & Development or Instructional Design experience
- Utility or energy industry experience required
- Experience with instructional design and adult learning
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Experience using training metrics to drive improvements
Preferred
- Learning Management System (LMS) experience
- Technical, operations, or compliance training experience
