■ WORK SCHEDULE
- During the initial plant setup and launch phase, the schedule will operate on standard office hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week).
- Upon completion of the setup phase, operations will transition to the Fixed 12-Hour Shift production schedule, subject to operational adjustments.
■ JOB DESCRIPTION
- Load and unload palletized raw materials and finished goods from transport vehicles.
- Safely stack and store incoming goods in designated areas, or transfer them to required locations.
- Transport and supply materials and parts to production lines in a timely manner as needed by the site.
- Perform daily equipment inspections (battery charge, fuel level, hydraulics, tires, etc.) before and after operations, and maintain cleanliness.
- In addition to forklift operation duties, support other team members and perform assigned tasks as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, efficient work environment and contribute to overall production and operational goals.
■ QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior forklift operation experience or a valid forklift certification is REQUIRED.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent practical education is REQUIRED.
- Willingness to undergo a post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen is REQUIRED.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior experience in production, warehouse, or mechanical environments is highly preferred but NOT required.
- Ability to collaborate positively in a diverse team environment to hit daily production and safety goals.
■ PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Continuously operate forklift controls, including steering wheels, hydraulic levers, foot pedals, and scanners or touchscreen terminals.
- Sit for extended periods while operating a forklift, with the ability to frequently twist, turn, and look over both shoulders to maintain visibility while driving.
- Occasionally lift, push, pull, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Safely mount and dismount the forklift multiple times per shift and walk or stand as needed throughout the warehouse.
- Wear required PPE at all times, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, and hearing protection.
