Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
This is a new position we are adding to streamline efficiency and accuracy of products to our customers.
In this role, you will assist PM's with confirming shipping schedules, lead-times and accuracy of items being delivered to customers. Along with inventory management activities to ensure seamless order fulfillment and optimal supply chain performance. Your proactive approach will help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Assist PM's in transportation planning/scheduling of inbound and outbound materials.
- Coordinate shop distribution, work with shipping & receiving, and inventory control activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Manage inventory levels through Tekla Trimble ERP platform to maintain accurate stock levels
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and freight carriers to ensure efficient dispatching and meeting delivery deadlines
Requirements
- Proactive team oriented individual
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or logistics coordination with a strong understanding of meeting deadlines and acuracy
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze complex logistics data for process improvement opportunities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
