Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including handling cash drawers and performing cash management duties.
- Conduct retail math calculations to ensure correct pricing, discounts, and change.
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products, assisting with loan processing, and collecting payments or loan collections when necessary.
- Maintain organized data entry records for sales, customer information, and financial transactions using financial software.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Support store operations through inventory management, restocking shelves, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with retail store environments is preferred.
- Basic math skills including 10 key typing, processing cash transactions, and retail math calculations.
- Experience with banking or financial services is a plus, especially in retail lending or loan processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to handle cash accurately, including cash drawer handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with financial software tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or financial services is advantageous.
