COMPENSATION: $17.00 - $22.00, Depending on Experience
HOURS PER WEEK: Varies – Full and Part Time

Hemlock Neversink is set on the historic site of the former New Age Health Spa. The 230 acre campus is serene, naturally beautiful and filled with woodsy paths, secluded nooks, hiking trails, and streams. Hemlock features the region’s most complete wellness facility, with 12 treatment rooms, a full service spa, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Plus a movement & fitness center featuring premium crafted equipment, yoga spaces, studio fitness, and more.
In addition to movement & fitness opportunities, Hemlock also offers spaces and instruction for a range of “hands on” activities such as pottery, weaving, life drawing, and other mindful creative practices.

Our Back of House teams are friendly, collaborative, and focused on quality. As a Line Cook, you will be a critical part of executing Bittersweet’s restaurant’s daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, along with special events and weddings. We’ve welcomed cooks with both minimal and extensive past experience and have always provided the proper training and support for candidates willing to learn and further their skillset.
What You’ll Do:
- Supporting the Head Chef with running the day to day kitchen operations
- Preparing food
- Performing administrative tasks such as ordering ingredients and supplies
- Developing positive working relationships with owners, directors, and co-workers
- Ensuring compliance with all company safety protocols, including those specific to Covid-19

Work will be performed usually indoors, with some regular outdoor work, including occasional outdoor table service. Some restaurant spaces may be hot (kitchen) or involve other potential hazards such as hot plates/food/beverages and slippery floors.
Physical Requirements:
This position can be physically demanding. Walking up and down stairs may be required. Requires the ability to be on one’s feet for long periods at a time. Carrying/balancing food and beverage. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
