POSITION TITLE: QA Inspector
DEPARTMENT: Quality
REPORTS TO: Supervisor, QA
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To assure that all incoming label materials are compliant with all compendial and in-house requirements. To assure that manufacturing operations are performed as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inspect incoming labels for accuracy and completeness.
· Manage label inventory including JDE inventory system.
· Stage labels for packaging based on the schedule.
· Verify and return labels to inventory from packaging.
· Perform Line Clearances for Manufacturing and Compression
· Perform in process testing for Compression (hardness, weight, friability, thickness)
· Adhere to all cGMP requirements and document all work
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior cGMP experience preferred, including documentation
· Prior QA experience within the Pharmaceutical or other controlled Industry preferred
· High school diploma or GED
· Ability to work independently
· Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Knowledge of Oracle or other similar system.
· Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively articulate quality-related issues to supervisor and/or team
