Benchmark Therapies is looking for a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at St. Andrew’s Village in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
This would be a meaningful opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with older adults, values flexibility, and wants to be part of a supportive therapy team. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with residents while helping them improve their communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life.
- Complete speech-language pathology evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs
- Help residents maintain or improve their safety, independence, and ability to participate in daily life
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support each resident’s goals
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
- Provide thoughtful, compassionate, and resident-centered care
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence, when required
- A genuine interest in working with older adults
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach
- Flexible, as-needed scheduling
- Weekday coverage opportunities
- No set weekly schedule or guaranteed hours
- A minimum requirement of working once every six months to remain active
- A collaborative therapy team that values quality care and meaningful resident outcomes
