Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
- Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accurate billing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the guest experience
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate shortages promptly to management
- Handle cash transactions accurately, balancing registers at shift end while providing excellent customer service throughout each shift
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beers, and brewing processes
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
